Reviewsion simplifies managing multilingual customer reviews by providing both automatic and manual translation options. This ensures your store's visitors can easily read reviews in your primary shop language, enhancing their shopping experience and engagement.
Automatic translation
Pro can translate imported reviews into your Shopify store's primary language.
Note. Automatic translations are exclusively available on the Pro plan.
Manual translation
To translate a review with Pro, follow these steps.
Navigate to the Reviews page in Reviewsion.
Click on the review you wish to translate to open its details.
Locate the review's text box and click the Translate button.
Reviewsion will promptly translate and update the review into your shop's primary language. Importantly, the original version of the review is always preserved, allowing you to revert to it anytime.
Identifying translated reviews
Reviewsion makes it easy to identify reviews that differ from your shop's primary language. On Standard and Pro, these reviews display a small green badge before the review content, indicating the original language. The Free plan does not show a detected language name.
Customizing translation indicators
In Settings, under Review Content, configure how translated reviews are displayed.
Add a customizable prefix or suffix.
Clearly indicate the original language from which the review was translated.
These indicators transparently communicate translation status, ensuring clarity and trust with your customers.
Displaying translated reviews
Once translated, reviews displayed in your store will appear in the translated language, accompanied by any translation indicators you've configured. This ensures your audience experiences relevant content clearly and effectively, improving readability and engagement.
