Automatically importing reviews with Reviewsion is designed to streamline your review management, ensuring your store consistently displays fresh and relevant customer feedback without manual effort.
How Automatic Import Works
When enabled, Reviewsion continuously checks your connected platforms—such as Etsy, eBay, and Amazon—and imports new reviews automatically. Reviewsion identifies new customer reviews, stores them locally, matches them with your Shopify products, and makes them available across your store.
Benefits of Automatic Imports
Continuous Updates: Reviews are imported continuously, ensuring your store always showcases the latest feedback.
No Manual Effort: Removes the need for frequent manual reviews management, saving you valuable time.
Seamless Integration: Automatically matches reviews with your products, ensuring accurate display throughout your shop.
Quick Actions: Reviewsion automatically highlights your top and lowest-rated reviews, enabling prompt attention and action.
Supported Platforms and Limitations
Automatic imports are fully supported for:
Etsy
eBay
Automatic imports for Amazon reviews are limited due to current API restrictions, importing up to 10 reviews per product (learn more here).
Note: Automatic imports from these platforms are available exclusively on the Pro plan.
Enabling Automatic Imports
To enable automatic importing:
Go to your Reviewsion Settings page.
Navigate to the Automatically Import New Reviews section.
Activate the auto-import option.
Once enabled, Reviewsion handles the rest, automatically importing new reviews seamlessly in the background.
Monitoring and Managing Imports
Leverage Reviewsion's centralized review management to periodically review your imported feedback effectively. With all reviews organized in a single, convenient location, you can easily keep track of customer sentiments.
Additionally, Reviewsion's automated tagging helps you quickly identify standout reviews—both excellent and problematic ones. This allows you to promptly assign your best reviews to theme blocks, hide less favorable reviews, or directly engage reviewers to address concerns or acknowledge positive feedback as needed.
