While Reviewsion automatically assigns top reviews to your theme blocks, you also have full control to manually select which reviews appear where. This is perfect for highlighting specific testimonials that showcase particular use cases or tell your brand story.

How to Assign a Review to a Block
You can assign reviews directly from any Reviews page in Reviewsion:
Locate the review you'd like to feature.
In the Actions column, you'll see buttons representing the available theme blocks (such as Featured, Carousel, etc.).
Click the block button where you want this review to appear.
A popup will appear with two assignment options:
Product only: The review appears on this specific product's page
Product + Shop: The review appears on both the product page and shop-wide displays
Select your preferred assignment scope.
The block button will now show indicators for where the review is currently assigned.
To remove a review from a block, simply click the block button again and deselect the assignment.
Reordering Your Hand-Picked Reviews
After assigning multiple reviews to a block, you can control their display order:
Navigate to the block's configuration page.
Use drag-and-drop to reorder your manually assigned reviews.
Your custom order will be maintained in the block's display.
Priority Behavior
Manual assignments always take priority over automatic selections. Once you hand-pick reviews for a block, they will remain in that block until you remove them, regardless of automatic assignment rules. This ensures your curated selections stay visible.
Filtering to Find the Best Reviews
To make the assignment process easier, use the filters in the Reviews table to narrow down your best reviews:
Filter by 5 stars to find top-rated reviews
Filter by Has Media to find reviews with photos or videos
Filter by Product to find reviews for specific products
Filter by Content to find reviews mentioning specific topics
This helps ensure you're highlighting the most impactful and relevant testimonials on your store.
