Reviewsion blocks are built using Shopify’s Online Store 2.0 framework. To use these theme blocks, your store must be using a 2.0-compatible theme that supports app blocks.
Fully Responsive and Section-Aware
All Reviewsion blocks are fully responsive, meaning they scale beautifully across all screen sizes. Whether placed in a wide homepage section or a narrow sidebar, the blocks adjust automatically to look great. This makes them ideal for high-impact placements like the Product Detail Page (PDP) info bar, which is consistent across both desktop and mobile views.*

Each Reviewsion block can be sourced from:
A specific product
The shop as a whole
If a block is added to a product page, that product is automatically selected. Otherwise, it defaults to showing shop-level reviews. This gives you flexibility to:
Use a product’s own reviews on its page
Show reviews from another product
Feature store-wide praise in global theme areas
Automatic Review Assignment
Several blocks support automatic review assignment, meaning they’ll auto-populate with qualifying reviews even if you haven’t manually assigned them. This applies to:

If no reviews are manually selected, these widgets intelligently display relevant content based on either the current product or overall shop data.
Reviewer Name Settings
You can choose to display reviewers’ real names or anonymize them across the entire store. This is configured globally in your Reviewsion app settings and applies regardless of the source of the review—whether imported from Amazon, eBay, Etsy, or entered manually.
Color Customization
All blocks inherit your theme’s default colors automatically. For further control, each block offers:
Support for both light and dark modes
Editable background and text colors
Optional color overrides to match special sections or campaigns
Layout Options
Each block includes one or more pre-designed layouts you can choose from during configuration. These layouts are tailored for common use cases like carousels, lists, or media-forward designs.
Advanced Styling
For merchants with development experience, you can apply custom CSS to further tweak any Reviewsion block’s appearance. Each block is easily targetable with CSS classes.
