Importing Reviews from Amazon

Import up to 10 Amazon reviews per product due to API limitations. Add products manually using ASIN, SKU, or CSV for review import into Reviewsion.

Updated this week

Due to specific limitations imposed by Amazon's API, Reviewsion offers limited support for importing Amazon reviews. At present, Reviewsion can import up to 10 reviews per Amazon product.

Current Limitations

Amazon's API restricts the number of reviews Reviewsion can access. This limitation currently prevents Reviewsion from importing more than 10 reviews per Amazon product. Unfortunately, there is currently no workaround available. We are closely monitoring updates to Amazon's API, and we will immediately expand Reviewsion's capabilities as soon as Amazon lifts these restrictions.

How Review Import Works

Reviewsion imports Amazon reviews exclusively for products that are stored within your Reviewsion account. Upon connecting your Amazon shop, Reviewsion automatically attempts to import your Amazon products using the SKUs from your Shopify products.

If matching products are found, Reviewsion will begin importing reviews for these products automatically.

Adding Additional Amazon Products

If you need to import reviews for additional Amazon products, you can manually add these products in the Amazon shop's Products page within Reviewsion. Products can be added using:

  • ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number)

  • Direct Amazon product links

  • Product SKUs

  • CSV file uploads

Once additional products have been successfully added, you can initiate the review import process either individually per product or in bulk directly from the Amazon shop's Reviews page.

Automatic Reviews Importing

Reviewsion continuously attempts to automatically import new reviews from Amazon. However, due to the existing API limitations, automatic importing may occasionally face challenges or incomplete results.

As soon as Amazon updates and expands its API capabilities, Reviewsion will enhance its service accordingly to provide comprehensive Amazon review support.
