Reviewsion gives you a CSV file of the reviews customers left on your Shopify store, to keep or to open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. Reviews imported from Etsy and eBay are not in the file. Etsy's and eBay's terms do not let us pass their content to anyone else, and those reviews stay on Etsy and eBay.
You can download the file on any plan, and after your trial or plan has ended.
Download the file
In Reviewsion, open Settings, then the Account and Billing tab.
Under Export reviews, click Export reviews. The file is built in the background and shows Exporting… with a percentage. Most stores take a few seconds. You can leave the page while it runs. If you see "Couldn’t start the export. Try again.", click Export reviews again.
When it shows how many reviews are ready to download, click Download. If it shows The export did not finish., click Try again. If it shows You have 0 Shopify reviews to export., your store has no reviews collected on Shopify yet, so there is no file to download.
The file is kept for 7 days. After that, Reviewsion shows Your last export was deleted after 7 days. Click Export reviews to make a new one.
If your trial or plan has ended
Reviewsion opens on the page where you choose Free, Standard or Pro. The Export reviews section is on that page too, under Leaving Reviewsion?, and works the same way without choosing a plan.
Before you cancel or uninstall
When you click Cancel plan, the confirmation shows Export reviews first. Download your file there before you confirm.
If you plan to uninstall Reviewsion, download the file first. After you uninstall, your store's data is kept for 28 days and then permanently deleted. Photo and video links in the file stop working once it is deleted.
What is in the file
Every review customers left on your Shopify store, including reviews you uploaded from a CSV file, and reviews that are unpublished or archived.
One row for each review and product. A review that covers two products appears on two rows with the same text, reviewer and date.
The review text, rating, language, translation and date.
The reviewer's name, display name, email and country.
Whether the review is a verified purchase, published, archived, starred or flagged.
The product title, handle and ID, and the variant name and SKU.
Where the review came from, and the order number.
One column for each photo and video, as a link.
A value that starts with =, +, @ or a minus sign begins with an apostrophe, so your spreadsheet app shows it as text.
