Enable the Reviewsion App Embed
Before using any Reviewsion blocks, make sure the app embed is enabled in your theme.
Go to Online Store > Themes, then click Customize.
In the left sidebar, click App embeds.
Find Reviewsion in the list and toggle it on.
Click Save.
Product Reviews vs Shop Reviews
This block can show reviews from either a specific product or from the shop.
If added to a product page, that product is auto-selected as the review source.
You can override this and choose a different product manually.
If no product is selected, shop-level reviews will be displayed instead.

How to Add the Reviews Notification Block
In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Themes
Click Customize next to your active theme
Choose the page type where you want notifications
In the left sidebar, click Add Block, then select Reviewsion – Reviews Notification
The block will be added but won't appear in the layout preview
Click the block to configure its behavior and appearance
Block Settings

Position | Where notifications appear on screen (Bottom Left, Bottom Right, Top Left, Top Right). |
Display Mode | Choose between Random or Recent. |
Initial Delay | Time before first notification appears (5-60 seconds). Recommended: 10-15 seconds. |
Display Interval | Time between notifications (10-120 seconds). Recommended: 30-45 seconds. |
Display Duration | How long each notification stays visible (3-15 seconds). Recommended: 5-7 seconds. |
Max Notifications | Maximum number to show per page visit (1-20). Set to 0 for unlimited. |
Minimum Rating | Only show reviews with this rating or higher (1-5 stars). Recommended: 4 stars. |
Animation Style | How notifications appear/disappear (Slide, Fade, Pop). |
Sound Alert | Toggle to play a subtle sound when notification appears. |
Mobile Display | Toggle to show/hide notifications on mobile devices. |
Desktop Display | Toggle to show/hide notifications on desktop. |
Show Avatar | Display reviewer's avatar in notification. |
Show Product Image | Include product image in the notification. |
