Enable the Reviewsion App Embed
Before using any Reviewsion blocks, make sure the app embed is enabled in your theme.
Go to Online Store > Themes, then click Customize.
In the left sidebar, click App embeds.
Find Reviewsion in the list and toggle it on.
Click Save.
Product Reviews vs Shop Reviews
This block can show reviews from either a specific product or from the shop.
If added to a product page, that product is auto-selected as the review source.
You can override this and choose a different product manually.
If no product is selected, shop-level reviews will be displayed instead.
This allows you to display reviews from one product’s page on another product’s page, or anywhere else on your storefront.

This block is included in all Reviewsion plans.
What is the Reviews Carousel?
The Reviews Carousel displays a scrolling series of customer reviews. It’s ideal for highlighting a variety of testimonials in a compact, animated format that performs well on all screen sizes.
Recommended Placement
Reviewsion recommends placing the Mini Reviews Carousel:
Right next to important call to actions such as an add-to-cart button
Near category descriptions on collection pages
Below smaller marketing content or promotional modules
Anywhere you want lightweight review content without taking over the layout
️ How to Add the Reviews Carousel Block
In your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
Click Customize next to your active theme.
Choose the page type where you want to add the block (e.g., Product page, Homepage, etc.).
In the left sidebar, click Add Block, then select Reviewsion – Reviews Carousel.
Drag the block into position in your layout.
Click the block to open settings and configure its appearance and content.

Source | Select a product to filter reviews. If none is selected, shop-level reviews will be shown. |
Dark | Toggle to enable dark mode. |
Section background color | Set a background color. Use "Transparent" or "None" to inherit light/dark mode from your theme. |
Margin top | Adjust the top margin of the block (in pixels). |
Margin bottom | Adjust the bottom margin of the block (in pixels). |
Padding top & bottom | Adjust the vertical padding of the block (in pixels). |
Padding sides | Adjust the horizontal padding of the block (in pixels). |
Enable max width | Toggle to restrict the block to a maximum width. |
Max width | Set the maximum width of the block (in pixels). Recommended if your theme section doesn’t already provide max-width controls. |
Max number of reviews | Set the maximum number of reviews to display in the carousel (up to 15). |
Carousel button alignment | Set the position of the carousel navigation buttons (Left, Center, or Right). |
Randomize order of reviews | Toggle to randomize the review order on each full page load. |
Layout | Choose a layout style for review cards (Default or Alternate). |
Card width | Set the width of each review card (in pixels). |
Card gap | Set the spacing between individual review cards (in pixels). |
Show images | Toggle to display review media such as photos. |
Show avatar | Toggle to show the reviewer’s avatar. |
Show date | Toggle to display the date the review was submitted. |
Show stars | Toggle to show star rating. |
Star width | Set the size of the star icons (in pixels). |
Show platform | Choose how the review platform name is displayed (e.g., in brand colors or your theme’s text color). |
Product link | Show or hide a link to the reviewed product. If shown, it can open in a new tab. Hidden when the block is placed on the same product's page. |
Show card border | Toggle to add a border around each review card. |
Show card shadow | Toggle to add a drop shadow around each review card. |
Rounded corners | Adjust how rounded the corners of each card appear (in pixels). |
