In Reviewsion, hiding reviews is a useful way to prevent specific reviews from appearing in your theme blocks. This ensures your store displays only reviews you consider appropriate and relevant.
Automatic Hiding of Reviews
Reviewsion offers automated options to streamline your review management:
Reviews Without Content: Automatically hide reviews that contain only star ratings without any written content.
Specific Star Ratings: Configure Reviewsion to automatically hide reviews with specific star ratings, such as all 1-star or 2-star reviews.
These automatic hiding rules simplify your review management by removing unwanted reviews from your theme blocks and review lists, resulting in clearer, easier-to-navigate review management.
You can manage and configure automatic hiding rules in the Reviewsion settings under the Automatically Hide Reviews section.
Default Automatic Hiding Behaviors
By default, Reviewsion automatically hides:
Duplicate Reviews: Reviews from the same person with identical content for the same product (commonly across different variations).
Inappropriate Reviews: Reviews flagged as inappropriate.
Manual Hiding of Reviews
You can also manually hide reviews at any time:
Navigate to the Reviews page in Reviewsion.
Locate the review you wish to hide.
Click the block icon next to the review to hide it.
Filtering Hidden Reviews
To view your hidden reviews, use the hide filter on the Reviews page. This quickly shows or hides these reviews, helping you efficiently manage your store's reviews.
